North Carolina State Representative Chris Humphrey, a Republican who has served the 12th House district since 2019, recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative achievements, community events, and local student recognition.
On October 4, 2025, Rep. Humphrey posted about the passage of Iryna’s Law, stating: “I was proud to stand with my #NCGA colleagues to pass Iryna’s Law. This new law puts victims first, keeps dangerous criminals behind bars, and delivers enhanced public safety for every North Carolinian. #ncpol”.
The following day, October 5, he congratulated a local high school graduate on a national honor: “Congratulations to Rachel Noble, a proud 2025 South Lenoir HS graduate, on being named a U.S. Presidential Scholar — one of just 161 nationwide! Her academic excellence & leadership are a testament to the strength of ENC. We’re proud to see her on the national stage! #ncpol”.
On October 6, Rep. Humphrey shared his experience attending a community event in Greene County: “It was a pleasure to attend the Greene County Community All-Stars event last week. It was a meaningful night recognizing folks who go above and beyond for our community — and they deserve every bit of that spotlight. #ncga #ncpol”.
Chris Humphrey succeeded George Graham in representing North Carolina’s 12th House district when he was elected in 2019.
