On March 6, 2025, Congressman Davis acknowledged the contributions of Apostle Norbert Simmons. He stated that “Apostle Norbert Simmons, the driving force behind Deeper Life Church Ministries, was honored at the 41st Founder’s Day and Church Anniversary. We are truly grateful for his impact on so many lives over the years.”

Later that day, he noted Pastor Frank Rice’s role as a guest chaplain in Congress. On March 6, 2025, Davis tweeted that “Pastor Frank Rice from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Hookerton delivered a heartfelt opening prayer as guest chaplain at the U.S. House of Representatives.”
