Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., who represents North Carolina’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, has been active on social media sharing updates about his recent activities and views. Murphy, who has served in Congress since 2019 after replacing Walter B. Jones Jr., continues to engage with constituents and address various issues through his online presence.

On February 10, 2025, Congressman Murphy announced an upcoming event dedicated to honoring veterans. He stated, “I will be hosting my fourth Veterans History Project event on March 6th! This event honors our veterans by inviting them to share their stories to be preserved in the Library of Congress for future generations.” He encouraged interested participants to register via a provided link.

Later that day, Murphy expressed strong criticism towards what he perceives as progressive influences in medical education. He remarked, “This revelation is disgusting. How did Medicine get so snow rolled by the progressive Left? It is their way or the highway. Thanks to those who oversee Medical Schools, liberal indoctrination is the norm. It must be stopped.”

On February 11, 2025, Congressman Murphy shared news of a meeting with representatives from Pitt Community College in Washington D.C. He tweeted about his commitment to supporting educational institutions: “This morning, I welcomed representatives from Pitt Community College to DC to discuss the resources needed to empower students and foster success in the classroom. I’m committed to ensuring the institution has the tools it needs to educate the next generation of leaders.”
