Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., has recently shared a series of posts on his social media account addressing national loss, remembrance of 9/11, and healthcare policy discussions.

On September 10, 2025, Murphy expressed condolences following the passing of an individual named Charlie. He wrote, “America, and the world for that matter, have lost a great voice for reason and clarity in a time of vast confusion. Prayers for Charlie’s wife and family.”

The following day marked the anniversary of the September 11 attacks. On September 11, 2025, Murphy posted a message reflecting on the events of 2001: “On 9/11/2001, America was changed forever. We remember the innocent lives that were taken and the brave first responders and volunteers who answered the call to help. My heart is with the families who lost loved ones on that tragic day. May God bless them. We will never https://t.co/fUQxjTYBhy”

Later that same day, Murphy highlighted his engagement with healthcare professionals from North Carolina: “It was a pleasure to meet with dermatologists from NC to discuss Medicare payment reform, the prior authorization process, and step therapy. We must ensure insurance bureaucracy does not impede patients from receiving timely care. https://t.co/QpO2EnCH6O”

Gregory Murphy has represented North Carolina in Congress since winning a special election in 2019 against Allen Thomas by a margin of nearly 62%. He subsequently secured re-election victories over Daryl Farrow in 2020 (63%), Barbara Gaskins in 2022 (67%), and Gheorghe Cormos in 2024 (77%).
