County of Greene issued the following announcement on June 21.

Seeking At-Large Members from the Towns of Walstonburg and Hookerton  

Application required.  Applications are available on the Greene County Web Site at https://greenecountync.gov/government/county-boards/

Description of Duties:  Plan and coordinate the development of the Aging Funding Plan for Greene County.  Members at large include Greene County Residents who are at least age 60 and older. Every effort will be made to select an appropriate mix of race, gender, and geographical location.  Meetings will be held in Jan., March, May, July, Sept., and Nov., on the 3rd Tuesday at 2pm.  Meetings will be held at the Greene County Senior Center at 104 Greenridge Road in Snow Hill. Agencies that provide services through the Home & Community Care Block Grant give up-to-date information on Transportation, Senior Nutrition, and In-Home Aide Services during these meetings.
