County of Pitt issued the following announcement on Apr. 26.

WE NEED YOUR INPUT!  Pitt County, along with the Greenville Urban Area MPO, and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), is developing “Envision Pitt County 2045”, a new comprehensive land use plan that will guide future growth and development within the County.  Pitt County staff will be holding four (4) Public Input Meetings from 5:00pm-7:30pm at the following locations:

  • Thursday, May 19, 2022 at D.H. Conley High School
  • Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Ayden-Grifton High School
  • Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Farmville Central High School
  • Thursday, June 9, 2022 at North Pitt High School

This will be an opportunity for you to provide valuable input regarding the strengths, opportunities, and challenges within Pitt County, as well as a chance to share your vision for how the County should develop over the next 20-30 years.  For more information about the plan and to take a brief SURVEY, please visit www.EnvisionPittCounty2045.com.
