On February 14, 2025, Congressman Davis recognized the role of school bus drivers during School Bus Driver Appreciation Week. He joined Ms. Pam Respess on Bus#165 with students from Banks Elementary for a morning route ride-along. “School bus drivers are the first and last smiles many of our students see each school day.”

Later that day, he mentioned an event aimed at career development hosted by Nash County Public Schools, Nash Community College, and local businesses. The Career & Technical Education Showcase: Map Your Journey was designed to connect the community with career pathways and regional opportunities. “This event connects our community to career pathways and regional opportunities.”

On February 15, 2025, Davis highlighted Dr. LaToya McCurdy’s contributions to healthcare in Rocky Mount, NC. Dr. McCurdy founded NEWH Regional Medical Center in 2022 to provide primary care services across multiple counties. “Dr. LaToya McCurdy…is dedicated to improving her community’s well-being.”
