Greene County Public Library issued the following announcement on June 2.

Juneteenth Community Celebration!

Saturday, June 18, 2022

4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

at the African American Music Trail Park in Kinston, NC. 

Join us for a community celebration as we gather to commemorate Juneteenth and celebrate this day of remembrance through song, dance, and shared history. The Juneteenth Community Celebration will feature local performers, artisans, businesses, and food trucks. For further information, please call the Information Services Desk at 252-527-7066, ext. 134.
