Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., recently took to social media to express gratitude and provide important reminders and opinions on various issues. His posts addressed community efforts in fundraising, preparedness for natural disasters, and political commentary.

On June 8, 2025, Congressman Murphy thanked the community for their support in raising over $1.2 million at a Children’s Miracle Network event. He emphasized his appreciation by stating “A big thank you to those in our community who helped raise over $1.2 million at a recent Children’s Miracle Network event.” He further noted the positive impact this will have on children and families requiring pediatric care in Eastern North Carolina.

Later that day, Congressman Murphy highlighted the importance of preparedness for hurricane season. In his post, he mentioned “Eastern North Carolina is no stranger to hurricanes. Whether it’s your first season or your fifteenth, it is important to stay prepared.” He directed residents to his website for resources on how to be ready for severe weather conditions in the region.

In another post on June 8, 2025, Congressman Murphy expressed his political views regarding certain liberal perspectives and leadership under President Joe Biden. He commented “Reality is not a concept held by some Liberals. Such @CoryBooker knows better.” He criticized those defending criminals as being complicit in creating chaos and attributed part of this situation to President Biden’s leadership.
