Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., has taken to social media to share his views on international relations, legislative priorities, and national observances. His recent posts address critical issues such as foreign policy, healthcare legislation, and the commemoration of historical events.

On June 19, 2025, Congressman Murphy expressed his stance against isolationism in a tweet. He stated, “Isolationism in today’s world is foolish. The world is no longer flat. An Islamic Terrorist with a dirty bomb could kill millions in NYC. Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear bomb. Period. If we had been able to kill Hitler it would’ve saved millions. Now is the time to act.”

Later that day, he emphasized the importance of certain legislative measures in another tweet, declaring that “The US Senate must restore the Doc Fix (MEI measure), PBM reform and the EPIC Act.”

In addition to these pressing matters, Congressman Murphy took a moment to acknowledge Juneteenth on June 19, 2025. In a tweet, he noted that “The United States is a free nation and a beacon of hope to those across the world because of the inalienable rights protected for every American,” and highlighted that “Today, we observe Juneteenth to celebrate the anniversary of the end of slavery in 1865.”

Juneteenth commemorates June 19th as an important milestone marking the abolition of slavery in Texas and more broadly throughout Confederate states.
