Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., has recently shared a series of thoughts and updates via social media, touching on various topics from existential questions to constituent services and healthcare criticisms.

On June 3, Congressman Murphy posed a provocative question on his social media platform: “What one human activity would lead us to elimination of the human race in one generation ?” This inquiry appears to invite reflection on the impact of human actions on global sustainability.

In a subsequent post dated June 4, Congressman Murphy highlighted his office’s achievements since he began serving in Congress in 2019. He stated that his office has assisted over 7,000 constituents with federal government issues. He encouraged those needing help with federal agencies, such as passport applications or VA benefits, to reach out to his district offices for assistance. The post reads: “Since coming to Congress in 2019, my office has helped over 7,000 constituents navigate issues with the federal government… I am here to https://t.co/YJxorINit9”

Later that day, Congressman Murphy expressed strong criticism towards insurance companies in the United States. He asserted that these companies are compromising patient care for profit gains. His message included specific mention of legal action against UnitedHealthcare (UHC), stating: “Let’s be clear. Insurance companies in the US, by denying care to gain higher profits, are killing patients. Another lawsuit against one of the worst actors @UHC.”
