Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., has recently shared several statements on his official Twitter account, addressing issues related to military pay and the conduct of federal agencies.

On October 9, 2025, Murphy wrote: “For years, have proudly cosponsored the Pay Our Troops Act. Those serving in the military, especially the young enlisted, should not be held hostage by the Progressive Left. Our troops should not miss a paycheck because Senate Democrats are afraid of primary challengers.”

In another post dated October 10, 2025, Murphy responded to Senator Eric Schmitt’s remarks by stating: “So spot on @SenEricSchmitt!! It’s going after those who weaponized the FBI and CIA.”

Later that same day, Murphy posted a brief message: “Oh Snap!”

Congressman Greg Murphy represents North Carolina’s 3rd congressional district. He has maintained a strong electoral record since first winning office in a special election in 2019 against Allen Thomas with approximately 61.7% of the vote. In subsequent elections he defeated Daryl Farrow in 2020 (63.4%), Barbara Gaskins in 2022 (66.9%), and Gheorghe Cormos in 2024 (77.4%).
