Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., posted a series of messages on his official social media account addressing a range of topics from religious support to national remembrance and healthcare advocacy.

On September 19, 2025, Murphy publicly expressed agreement with Cardinal Dolan by posting “Amen @CardinalDolan”.

Later that day, he recognized the sacrifices made by American prisoners of war and those missing in action. In his post dated September 19, 2025, Murphy stated: “Today, we remember the sacrifices and service of American POWs and MIAs. The @DeptofWar estimates 80,000+ American service personnel are missing from previous conflicts.

We honor these heroes by flying the POW/MIA flag. You are not forgotten.”

The following day, on September 20, 2025, Murphy highlighted his meeting with the Epilepsies Action Network and reaffirmed his commitment to federal efforts supporting Americans living with epilepsy. He wrote: “Great to meet with the Epilepsies Action Network about establishing a National Plan for those living with the condition.

As a physician and an individual with loved ones impacted, I am proud to support federal efforts to help the 3.4 million Americans affected by epilepsy.”

Murphy serves as a U.S. Congressman representing North Carolina’s 3rd congressional district. His tenure in Congress has been marked by several electoral victories: he won re-election in 2024 against Gheorghe Cormos with over three-quarters of the vote; in previous years he also prevailed over Barbara Gaskins (2022), Daryl Farrow (2020), and Allen Thomas (2019).
