Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., has recently used his social media platform to address a range of topics, from commemorating the late Charlie Kirk to commenting on Vice President Kamala Harris and expressing concerns about the Chinese Communist Party.

On October 14, 2025, Murphy posted about a congressional vote honoring Charlie Kirk, stating, “Charlie Kirk would have been 32 today. It was an honor to vote to make today his day of remembrance. We remember his life, legacy, and commitment to the pursuit of truth, even when others may disagree.”

Two days later, on October 16, 2025, Murphy criticized Vice President Kamala Harris, referencing her recent remarks regarding her qualifications for the presidency. He wrote, “Shutdown or no shutdown. @KamalaHarris is living in Bizzaro World. ‘Well, some people have actually said I was the most qualified candidate ever to run for president,’ she said. Name one who isn’t on The View.”

Later that same day, Murphy addressed concerns about foreign influence, specifically pointing to China. He stated, “The Chinese Communist Party operates with no moral compass and will do whatever is necessary to push the ideals of the communist regime. They do not value human life and their influence must be limited to protect democracy worldwide.”

Murphy has represented North Carolina’s 3rd congressional district since 2019, consistently winning re-election by significant margins. In 2024, he defeated Gheorghe Cormos with 77.4% of the vote; in 2022, he won against Barbara Gaskins with 66.9%; in 2020, he prevailed over Daryl Farrow with 63.4%; and in 2019, he secured victory against Allen Thomas with 61.7%. These results reflect his continued support among constituents.
