Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., shared a series of posts on October 14, 2025, addressing topics ranging from foreign policy to healthcare legislation and military pay. Murphy, who has secured multiple electoral victories since 2019, commented on recent political developments and policy impacts.

In a post published at 11:08 a.m. UTC, Murphy criticized Secretary of State Antony Blinken, stating, “Beyond belief that @SecBlinken takes credit for the historic peace accord negotiated by @POTUS and @SecRubio. Rubio has made us quickly forget the disastrous job done by Blinken.”

Later, at 11:11 a.m. UTC, Murphy addressed the origins of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Premium Tax Credit (PTC), writing, “The PTC and the ACA were crafted by Insurance Companies and the Democrat Party. @MTG @mcuban. The programs have led to skyrocketing insurance profits and patient premiums. Patients and Physicians are the ones screwed in these debacles.”

In a third post at 4:43 p.m. UTC, Murphy commented on military pay during a government shutdown, stating, “Our troops will not miss their paycheck thanks to President Trump’s leadership.

Our service members and their families sacrifice so much in support of our country. They should not miss a paycheck because of political games.

Now, it’s time for Democrats to end the shutdown.”

Murphy, who has represented his district since winning a special election in 2019, has maintained strong electoral support, winning general elections in 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2024 with significant margins over his opponents.
