Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., has recently shared a series of posts on his official X account addressing topics ranging from allegations of healthcare fraud to national security and women’s leadership.

On March 12, 2026, Murphy posted: “Democrats love to scream their is ‘No Fraud’. 500 Hospice Centers in a 3 mile area. @SecBecerra cared only about adding more to the Medicaid rolls. Thank God @HHSGov is about good governance and not supporting corruption.”

The following day, March 13, Murphy quoted the First Lady’s remarks with support for young women leaders: “To all of the young women, entrepreneurs, and future leaders: Make time for yourself, educate yourself daily, and spread your passion. Be courageous and take risks.” Well said, @FLOTUS!

Later on March 13, he addressed concerns over homeland security funding: “With threats to our homeland still high, Democrats are refusing to fund the Department of Homeland Security. Holding our national security hostage for political leverage isn’t leadership, it’s reckless. Americans deserve leaders who put the safety of our nation first. “

Gregory Murphy has represented North Carolina’s 3rd congressional district since winning a special election in 2019. He secured reelection in subsequent contests against Allen Thomas (2019), Daryl Farrow (2020), Barbara Gaskins (2022), and Gheorghe Cormos (2024), each by significant margins.
