Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., recently shared a series of statements on social media, addressing major themes including governmental regulations, housing affordability, and recognizing professional excellence.

On May 1, 2025, Congressman Murphy expressed his stance against the current administration’s policies by stating, “For the past four years, hardworking Americans have paid the price of the Biden Administration’s nonsensical regulations and substantial government overreach. I voted YES to reverse another series of harmful Biden-era rules and restore common sense to our federal government.”

Later the same day, he tweeted about a meeting with local officials focused on housing, sharing, “It was good to meet with officials from New Bern on improving accessible and affordable housing. I am working in Congress to lower the cost of living, address our housing crisis, and create a strong economy, so everyone can take part in the American Dream.”

In a separate post from May 1, 2025, Congressman Murphy extended congratulations to Dr Robert A Montgomery @nyulangone for being awarded the honor of being one of the most 100 influential people of 2025. Excellence in Transplantation!”

Dr. Robert A. Montgomery is recognized for his contributions to the medical field, particularly in transplantation, and is affiliated with NYU Langone Health, a major academic medical center.
