The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Greenville conferred 835 bachelor's degrees and 341 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in speech communication and rhetoric. Data shows the school gave out 306 bachelor's degrees in speech communication and rhetoric, followed by 300 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 288 bachelor's degrees in public health education and promotion.
The university enrolled 28,718 students for 2017-18, including 23,071 in undergraduate programs and 5,647 in graduate programs.
