AYDEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Principal Amy Hilliard First Weekly Update For 2021-22 School Year

Update

Ayden Elementary School issued the following announcement on Aug. 15.

Good evening Angel families, this is your principal Amy Hilliard with your first weekly update for our 2021-22 school year.

PCS Board of Education will meet Monday August 16th to make a decision regarding the use of masks for the 2021-22 school year.  We will update parents on that decision after the meeting concludes along with other procedures and protocols related to COVID for this school year.

On Thursday August 19th we will hold our Open House for students and parents to meet their teachers.  Ayden Elementary's open house will be from 4:00-6:30 PM.  Upon arrival, parents will be given student homeroom assignments and staff will help direct families to those hallways.  We will be handing out disposable masks to be used at this event due to the large number of people who will be present.

Along with class assignments, families will be able to get bus information that will be located in the cafeteria, purchase shirts and other AES spirit items from the AES PTO, and talk with staff about our new online payment system to pay fees and other school related money using a debit card.

There will also be some community agencies there with information about after school care options as well as Kona Ice to purchase items to help you cool off.

We are looking forward to having the students back in our building and planning for an amazing 2021-22 school year.  As always we hope you had a wonderful weekend and we will see you soon.  Have a great evening.
