Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., a representative of North Carolina's 3rd district, has been actively discussing key issues on social media. His recent tweets cover topics from the automotive industry to healthcare and veteran support.

On December 5, 2024, Congressman Murphy met with General Motors to address the challenges faced by the U.S. automobile industry. He emphasized his role as a member of the Ways and Means Committee in ensuring that "our tax code benefits U.S. automotive companies" so that the industry can remain competitive against foreign competitors. "I met with General Motors to discuss the challenges our automobile industry is facing."

Later on the same day, he expressed strong views on healthcare practices as a surgeon. He criticized insurance companies for their policies, stating: "As a surgeon I am not waking my patient up with their belly wide open because some greedy insurance company wants to kill their patients." This comment highlights his stance against certain insurance company practices.

Additionally, Congressman Murphy is advocating for expanded care options for veterans suffering from PTSD and TBIs through hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT).
