Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., has expressed his support for the Department of Veterans Affairs' plan to establish a new outpatient clinic in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The announcement comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services for veterans in the region.

"I am proud to announce that the Department of Veterans Affairs has selected a location for a new outpatient clinic in Jacksonville, NC," said Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. "I am grateful to have worked alongside Senator Tillis last Congress to establish the necessary funding for this facility and thank him for his leadership on this issue. As the representative of over 76,000 veterans, it is my honor to fight on their behalf in Washington to ensure they receive the care they earned. I look forward to following the progress of this project!"

The initiative is backed by over $61 million allocated through the Honoring our PACT Act of 2022, legislation that Congressman Murphy and Senator Thom Tillis supported. This act was signed into law on August 10, 2022.
