On March 23, 2025, Congressman Murphy expressed anticipation for the opening of the Jacksonville Opal Autism Center. He highlighted the center's mission to provide comprehensive care through specialized autism therapy and diagnostic testing. He emphasized that America faces a spending problem rather than a revenue issue and stressed the importance of addressing this challenge to prevent further economic deterioration.
