Town of Farmville issued the following announcement on March 1.
Farmville Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a 5K Walk, Run, or Ruck!
The race kicks off Saturday, May 13 with the 5K beginning at 8 a.m. at Farmville Town Hall, 3672 N. Main St. Farmville.
Participants who register by April 13 will be guaranteed a T-shirt.
The 5K will be chip times by Run the East LLC.
The Fun Run will not be chip timed.
