Town of Farmville issued the following announcement on Mar. 3.

If your trash is collected on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday, your recycling date is shaded in green.

If your trash is collected Tuesday or Friday, your recycling date is shaded in blue.

WHAT CAN BE RECYCLED 

Aluminum (Cans, Foil, Pie-pans-no food residue)

Books (Text, Hard or Soft Cover)

Cardboard(Broken down-NO STYROFOAM/PACKAGING MATERIAL) 

Cartons(Juice, Milk, Soup Cartons) 

Clipboard & SBS Board (Cereal, Snack, Shoe Boxes)

Glass Bottles & Jars

Paper (Mail, Magazines, Phone Books, Office Paper)

  This schedule is also posted on the Town’s web site farmvillenc.gov under Public Works.
