City of Greenville recently issued the following announcement.
Traditionally at about this time on Sunday afternoon, sound checks would be under way and the final touches would be readied for Sunday in the Park. Due to mass gathering limitations, it’s quiet at the Town Common stage.
We miss the music and we miss all the people who have usually filled the park each Sunday.
At this time the concert series is still delayed. Currently, we plan to start up August 9 with East Coast Rhythm and Blues and run the series through early October.
Plans are subject to change as we continue to follow guidance from local and state health officials to protect the well-being of our community.
We want to give a shout out to our performers who are staying in tune with the changes and to our supporters from First Bank and East Carolina Vet for staying the course with us as sponsors for 2020.
