TOWN OF FARMVILLE: Camp, Cook and Play! Virtual Cooking Class to be Held July 23

Town of Farmville recently issued the following announcement.

Camp, Cook and Play! Virtual Cooking Class

When: Thursday, 23 July, 11AM – 12PM

Descriptiona; 

Farmville Public Library will present “Camp, Cook, Play!” a virtual cookingclass for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Classes begin July 16 at 11 am with a ZOOMlivestream and subsequent classes will be recorded and shared weekly throughAugust 20.

Led by Pitt County ExtensionEFNEP Youth Coordinator, Makeema Ross, the classes will focus on simple andhealthy snacks. All registrants will receive a free cooking kit, and ingredients will be provided for all recipes on a weekly basis. Registration is required by July12 at 5 pm by contacting Connie Widney, Children's Librarian, at cwidney@farmvillenc.govor calling 252-753-3355, as space is limited.
