County of Greene issued the following announcement on Aug. 7.
The Greene County Board of County Commissioners has announced a new Tax Administrator. Stephanie C. Wiggins officially began her role on Monday, August 2, 2021. Stephanie has been with the Greene County Tax Department since 2000, first as a Real Property Appraiser and then as a Deputy Tax Assessor since 2004. Stephanie obtained her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from North Carolina Wesleyan College and an Associate in Science in Paralegal Technology.
Stephanie enjoys spending time with my family (especially cheering her son on at his baseball games), photography, and travel.
Becky Sutton retired as Tax Administrator on July 31, 2021.
