County of Greene issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.
Greene County Water Corporation customers are impacted only in the following areas: Walstonburg, Bull Head, Fort Run, Shine, and Jason communities.
On August 16, 2021, a water line ruptured, causing a temporary loss in water pressure for citizens with Greene County Water Corporation in the Walstonburg, Bull Head, Fort Run, Shine, and Jason communities. Greene County Public Works has issued a boil water advisory for citizens in those areas with water supplied by Greene County Water Corporation. An additional notice will be sent when the boil water advisory has been lifted.
