North Carolina State Representative Gregory F. Murphy claimed that Democrats "hid a mentally declined president" and are now using ActBlue to engage in further "deceit," having "no damn shame." Murphy made his statement in an August 5 post on X.

"The Dems hid a mentally declined president from America for 3 1/2 years," said Rep. Gregory F. Murphy. "Profound Deceit. Now with ActBlue they are cheating yet again. They have no damn shame."

Fox News reported that a key House committee, led by Representative Bryan Steil, R-Wis., is expanding its investigation into the Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue. The probe focuses on allegations that ActBlue is bypassing campaign donation laws, enabling fraud through inadequate donor verification standards. According to Fox News, whistleblowers have claimed that ActBlue deliberately avoids using CVV numbers for donations to lower verification requirements, though the platform now requires CVV numbers for some transactions. The committee also received allegations that prepaid gift cards and credit cards are being used to launder contributions in violation of campaign finance laws.
