Congressman Greg Murphy has expressed his support for the newly elected Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson. In a statement released from Washington, D.C., Congressman Murphy emphasized the importance of Speaker Johnson's leadership for advancing key legislative priorities.

"Speaker Johnson is the leader House Republicans need to deliver for the American people and swiftly move President Trump's agenda through Congress," said Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. He highlighted the challenges faced by the nation over the past four years and stressed the necessity of unity within the Republican majority in Congress. According to Murphy, there are significant tasks ahead, including efforts to "lower the cost of living, secure our borders, preserve freedom in the United States, and achieve peace through strength globally."

Murphy also addressed issues in American healthcare. As a practicing physician with more than three decades of experience, he voiced his determination to challenge existing conditions that have led to "immense industry consolidation, reduced access to affordable, high-quality care, discriminatory hiring and educational practices, and the overall decline in our nation's health." He looks forward to collaborating with Speaker Johnson on these pressing healthcare matters.
