Congressman Greg Murphy participated in the certification of the 2024 Electoral College votes. In a joint session, Congress convened to officially count and certify the election results.

Murphy expressed his satisfaction with the outcome, stating, "Today, I was proud to participate in the certification of the 2024 election in which President Donald Trump was resoundingly reelected by the American people." He emphasized that Republicans have been given a mandate to address several key issues: "Republicans have been given a mandate to lower the cost of living, secure our borders, replace woke progressivism with common sense, and achieve peace through strength globally."

Looking ahead to January 20th, Murphy said he is eager for the inauguration and focused on implementing President Trump's agenda. He also extended gratitude towards law enforcement for their service during challenging weather conditions: "Additionally, I thank the U.S. Capitol Police, and other law enforcement officers, for keeping us safe on this frigid and snowy day in Washington."
