Congressman Greg Murphy issued a statement following the confirmation of Doug Collins as Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
"Congratulations to Secretary Doug Collins on being confirmed by the United States Senate to serve our nation as Secretary of Veterans Affairs," Congressman Murphy stated. He expressed confidence in Collins' ability to lead the agency effectively and address the needs of veterans.
Murphy, who represents over 76,000 veterans and serves on the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, emphasized his commitment to ensuring that veterans receive their benefits with dignity. "As a representative of over 76,000 veterans, and a member of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, ensuring those who served our country receive the benefits they earned with dignity is one of my highest priorities in Congress," he said.
The congressman also indicated his intention to collaborate closely with Collins. "I look forward to working closely with Secretary Collins to take on the challenges and shortcomings of the agency aggressively," Murphy added.
