Congressman Don Davis, representing North Carolina’s 1st District, has been actively engaging with his community and addressing pressing issues through his social media platform. On April 2, 2025, Davis made a statement regarding tariffs and their consequences, expressed gratitude towards local veterans, and outlined a legislative effort related to nuclear medicine.

On April 2, 2025, Davis addressed the economic impact of tariffs on various stakeholders. He stated, "Tariffs can have a significant impact on our farmers, families, and small businesses by increasing costs for essential industries and job creators. Many eastern North Carolina families are already facing high costs."

Later that day, he expressed his appreciation for the participation of Oxford veterans at a recent community event. He posted, "A big thank you to the Oxford veterans who joined us for our Mobile Office Hours. It was a pleasure assisting you, and as always, we deeply appreciate your service to our country. Our next stop is Northampton on April 30th!"

Davis also highlighted a legislative initiative he supports via another post on April 3, 2025. He wrote, "H.R. 2541, the Nuclear Medicine Clarification Act of 2025, aims to close a loophole that can expose patients to high radiation levels without proper reporting or disclosure."
