On April 4th, 2025, Congressman Davis praised Kim Stites, the program director for The Open Door Food Pantry in Perquimans County, in a post stating, "Friday in the First Kim Stites, who resides in Hertford, North Carolina is the program director for The Open Door Food Pantry in Perquimans County. Kim has led the pantry’s transition to a client-choice model, empowering individuals, reducing food waste, and restoring dignity."

Later the same day, Davis highlighted his visit to Parks Farm in Wayne County, as he discussed significant issues afflicting local farmers. Davis shared, "During our visit to Parks Farm in Wayne County, we engaged with committed farmers about critical issues like the farm bill, farmland preservation, tariffs, and labor challenges. The obstacles these farmers face are significant, and it is imperative that we steadfastly advocate."

Furthermore, Congressman Davis shared his admiration for Tyndall Farms and their community contribution, expressing his inspiration from their story.
