Congressman Greg Murphy issued a statement regarding the House of Representatives' concurrence on the Senate Amendment to H.Con.Res. 14. This legislation initiates the budget reconciliation process.

"House Republicans are unified in moving forward a budget reconciliation package that codifies President Trump‘s agenda while addressing runaway spending," stated Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. He expressed concerns that "the Senate’s framework does not do enough to rein in our structural deficits and snowballing debt." Despite this, he noted that by aligning with the Senate on budget reconciliation instructions, Congress can commence turning their plans into reality.

Murphy emphasized his commitment as a member of the Ways and Means Committee, having prepared over the past six months for the tasks ahead. He pledged dedication to "building an economy that uplifts all Americans, preserving tax cuts, and ensuring the financial stability of our great country."
