NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE: Insurance Commissioner Causey to visit fire stations, insurance agencies during Thursday trip to Iredell County

North Carolina Department of Insurance issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.

North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will visit fire stations and insurance agencies during a trip to Iredell County on Thursday, Aug. 20.

Commissioner Causey, who is also the State Fire Marshal, will stop by three fire stations Thursday morning. He will discuss the need to improve volunteer firefighter recruitment and retention and listen to firefighters’ concerns.

During the afternoon, Commissioner Causey will stop by three insurance agencies. He will discuss his efforts to modernize the insurance industry in North Carolina and listen to agents’ ideas and concerns.

Here is Commissioner Causey’s public schedule for the day:

9:15 a.m.—Union Grove Volunteer Fire Department

1994 W. Memorial Highway, Union Grove, N.C.

10: 05 a.m. – Trinity Volunteer Fire Department

2997 Wilkesboro Highway, Statesville, N.C. 

10:55 a.m. – Troutman Fire Department

125 N. Main St., Troutman, N.C. 

1:20 p.m. – Tar Heel Insurance Agency

941 Thomas St., Statesville, N.C. 

1:45 p.m. – Piedmont Mutual Insurance Co.

1705 Davie Ave., Statesville, N.C. 

2:10 p.m. – Sterling Anders Nationwide Agency

1823 Davie Ave, Statesville, N.C.
