North Carolina Department of Insurance issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will visit fire stations and insurance agencies during a trip to Iredell County on Thursday, Aug. 20.
Commissioner Causey, who is also the State Fire Marshal, will stop by three fire stations Thursday morning. He will discuss the need to improve volunteer firefighter recruitment and retention and listen to firefighters’ concerns.
During the afternoon, Commissioner Causey will stop by three insurance agencies. He will discuss his efforts to modernize the insurance industry in North Carolina and listen to agents’ ideas and concerns.
