Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., representing North Carolina’s 3rd district, shared several thoughts recently on social media, addressing a range of topics from healthcare to judicial influence on policy.

On March 31, 2025, Congressman Murphy detailed a meeting with esteemed figures in nursing education. "Today, I met with Dr. Michael Relf, Interim Dean of the Duke University School of Nursing, and Dr. Valerie Howard, Dean of the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Nursing. It was wonderful discussing how Congress can best support the next generation of nurses!"

Later on March 31, he posted about the judicial system’s role in policymaking. "Activist District Court Judges should not dictate international or national policy"

On April 1, 2025, he expressed concerns about the role of insurance companies in the healthcare system. "For the Love of God why do we allow Insurance Companies to dictate Healthcare in this country?? it gets worse and worse every year. I am working to correct this, but I need help."
