COUNTY OF PITT: For Sale of Real Property Using Online Auction

County of Pitt issued the following announcement on Apr. 13.

Please take notice that pursuant to the terms and provisions of N.C.G.S. 160A-270, the County of Pitt will be selling the following parcels located in Greenville, NC.  Property is in and owned by Pitt County, North Carolina and more particularly described as follows:

Pitt County, NC has declared by its Resolution on April 4, 2022, the real property described above to be surplus and has authorized the property to be sold utilizing the online auction site GovDeals at  https://www.govdeals.com/pittcountyncrealestate which shall publicly advertise this property on its website for 30 days starting May 12, 2022.  Terms & Conditions can be found at https://www.govdeals.com/TsandCs.cfm?acctid=21375.  A copy of the Resolution, which includes the Terms and Conditions, may be obtained by contacting Susan Britt, Purchasing Coordinator, at susan.britt@pittcountync.gov or by calling (252) 902-3007. 

The auction shall be open to all bidders who reside in the United States who are 18 years or older.   

After all bids have been received the highest bid shall be reported to the County Board of Commissioners.  The Board shall accept or reject it within 30 days thereafter.  If the bid is rejected, the Board may advertise the property(s) for sale.
