Town of Ayden issued the following announcement on June 23.
At the June 13th Town Board Meeting, the Board adopted a Resolution declaring Juneteenth an official paid holiday in the Town of Ayden. As a result, town offices will be closed on Monday, June 20th, in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday. The sanitation schedule will be revised as follows:
Monday, June 20th- no pickup
Tuesday, June 21st - Monday’s route
Wednesday, June 22nd - Tuesday’s route
Thursday, June 23rd - Wednesday’s route
Friday, June 24th – Recycling
