Greenville Pitt County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.
For the past 34+ years our community partnerships have helped make Christmas truly special for hundreds of families throughout Pitt County and the City of Greenville. We will be accepting new, unwrapped toys throughout Greenville with assistance from the Salvation Army. Please help us collect toys that will continue to make Christmas memorable for all children. Please see below for toy donation events and collection sites.
All toy collection ends on Tuesday, December 13th.

Great Harvest Bread Company - Operation Santa Claus
IBX Media Radiothon - Friday, Dec. 3rd from 7AM until 3PM
Greenville Gives Event - Five Points Plaza on Friday, Dec. 2nd 5:30PM until 7:30PM
Wal-Mart Supercenter (10th Street and Greenville Blvd) - Saturday, Dec 3rd from 10AM until 2PM
