Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., representing North Carolina's 3rd district, shared several tweets on December 13, 2024. His posts covered topics ranging from celebrating the National Guard's anniversary to educational funding and concerns about political influence within the Pentagon.

On December 13, Congressman Murphy acknowledged the National Guard's 388th birthday, expressing gratitude for their service and dedication. He stated, "Happy 388th birthday, National Guard! Today we celebrate the men and women of our National Guard who devote themselves to serving our country and keeping us safe. Thank you for your commitment to being 'Always Ready, Always There,' especially in the wake of Hurricane Helene."

Later that day, he emphasized the importance of educational resources by announcing his support for the FY25 NDAA. Murphy tweeted about securing Impact Aid for local school districts in military-impacted areas, particularly in Craven and Onslow Counties. He wrote, "Our schools must have the resources they need to provide students with high-quality education, which is why I voted YES on FY25 NDAA. As a result, Craven/Onslow Counties will receive much-needed Impact Aid to support local school districts in military-impacted areas."

In another post on December 13, Murphy expressed concern over potential political influences within the Pentagon. He remarked, "If this is true, it is absolute proof that the Pentagon has been politically compromised."
