Public Hearing Notice: Envision Pitt County 2045 Comprehensive Land Use Plan | COUNTY OF PITT: (https://www.pittcountync.gov)
County of Pitt issued the following announcement on March 1.
The Pitt County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 20, 2023, at or after 6:00 p.m. in the Eugene James Auditorium in the County Administration Building located at 1717 W. 5th Street, Greenville, N.C. regarding the proposed Envision Pitt County 2045 Comprehensive Land Use Plan. Pitt County, in collaboration with the Greenville Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and the NC Department of Transportation, has developed a comprehensive land use plan that will help guide future growth and development in Pitt County.
The purpose of this public hearing is to gather public comment and input on the proposed plan prior to consideration by the the Board of County Commissioners. The final draft of the Envision Pitt County 2045 Comprehensive Land Use Plan is available for review at www.EnvisionPittCounty2045.com. Those persons unable to attend the hearing may submit written questions or comments to the Pitt County Planning Department before the meeting.
