Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., representing North Carolina’s 3rd district, has been actively engaging with his constituents and addressing healthcare issues through various public appearances and discussions. In a series of tweets, Murphy shared his recent activities and expressed his views on healthcare policies.

On November 18, 2024, Congressman Murphy participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery to honor veterans from North Carolina's 3rd district. He stated, "I was honored to participate in the wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on behalf of NC03’s veterans. We will forever remember the legacy of the men and women who died in service to our community. May they rest in peace and may God bless their loved ones."

On November 19, 2024, Murphy criticized the Affordable Care Act (commonly known as ObamaCare) for its impact on private medical practices. He tweeted, "ObamaCare’s mission to destroy Private Practice and lead us to a bureaucratic, bad-for-patient system is backfiring. Docs don’t like being a ‘cog’ in the machine."

Later that day, he met with Dr. Washington-Breach from the American Academy of Pediatrics to discuss pediatric healthcare challenges. Murphy expressed his appreciation for the meeting by tweeting, "Today, it was a pleasure to meet with Dr. Washington-Breach of the American Academy of Pediatrics to discuss the challenges facing pediatricians. I appreciate her visit and the opportunity to discuss ways Congress can ensure access to high-quality care for children."
