Congressman Don Davis, representing North Carolina’s 1st district, shared several updates on social media regarding recent initiatives and activities. The tweets highlighted his focus on education, healthcare, and his experiences serving Eastern North Carolina (eNC).

On November 23, 2024, Congressman Davis acknowledged National Education Week by emphasizing the importance of education for the future of Eastern North Carolina. He stated, "It’s National Education Week! Education is the foundation of eNC’s future. Every child deserves access to quality schools, safe learning environments, and the tools they need to succeed. We must invest in our teachers, our schools, and our children."

Later that day, Davis addressed his efforts in healthcare during the 118th Congress. He tweeted about the bipartisan legislative work undertaken by his office in support of patients and healthcare providers: "During the 118th Congress, healthcare has been a significant focus for our office. We have led, co-led, and cosponsored more than 100 bipartisan bills for patients, providers, and our healthcare workforce." He also mentioned National Rural Health Month.
