On December 4, 2024, Congressman Murphy tweeted about a meeting with Duke Energy CEO Lynn Good. He emphasized the significance of nuclear energy for the United States' future. "Today, I met with Duke Energy CEO, Lynn Good, to discuss the importance of American nuclear expansion. The United States must become a leader in nuclear energy production to power our future."

Later that day, he shared insights from his meeting with Monolith CEO Rob Hanson. Congressman Murphy highlighted advancements in sustainable manufacturing and a process known as methane pyrolysis. "I met with Monolith CEO Rob Hanson and got a chance to learn about developments in sustainable manufacturing. It was a pleasure hearing about their cutting-edge process called methane pyrolysis, which harnesses renewable electricity to create cleaner carbon products."

In another tweet posted later on December 4th, Congressman Murphy addressed concerns over pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) practices affecting patients and local pharmacies. He reiterated his commitment to advocating for policies that prioritize patient affordability and access to care. "American patients and local pharmacies are paying the price because of the extortion and greed of insurance companies through PBM practices. I will not let up my fight for policies that put patients first so they can get the help they need at an affordable price."
