ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina, is set to enhance the accessibility and convenience for its patients and visitors by reintroducing valet services and expanding shuttle services starting February 1. These initiatives are part of the center's ongoing efforts to improve the overall experience for those visiting the facility.

Valet services will be offered at a rate of $10 per day. Payment can be made using credit or debit cards, with Apple Pay and Google Pay options expected later this year. During operating hours, customers will receive a card with a text number/code or have the option to call for car retrieval. After hours, retrieval requests can be made via text or call to a posted number, with The Car Park (TCP) employees delivering vehicles to preferred entrance locations. After-hours service will be supported by staff stationed at the Emergency Department.

The valet service schedule is as follows:

- Emergency Department: Available 24/7

- Ambulatory Surgery Unit: Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- Cancer Center: Monday to Friday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

- Main Entrance Valet: Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Additionally, ECU Health Medical Center will continue offering free shuttle services with extended hours that align with visiting times. The shuttles will operate continuously between designated parking lots on campus and nine hospital entrances while serving an additional 50 on-campus locations upon request.

Shuttle services are accessible at two contact numbers: 919-900-6599 or 252-847-1547, and they run during these times:

- Monday to Friday: From 4 a.m. to 9 p.m.

- Saturday: From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The medical center expresses enthusiasm about these enhancements aimed at alleviating parking challenges and improving visitor convenience, allowing individuals who visit the facility to focus on receiving quality care.
