Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing North Carolina’s 3rd district, shared several insights on Twitter regarding his legislative efforts and meetings. Murphy has been an advocate for veterans' health and rural healthcare access, as well as fair trade practices.

On March 25, 2025, Congressman Murphy expressed gratitude for the bipartisan support received by his Veterans National Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment Act. The bill aims to offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy for veterans suffering from PTSD and TBI. He stated: "Grateful that my Veterans National Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment Act, to offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy for veterans with PTSD and TBI, passed @HouseVetAffairs with bipartisan support. I look forward to advocating for the passage of this bill on the House floor."

Later that day, Murphy addressed healthcare challenges faced by rural America in accessing care due to workforce shortages. He highlighted his background as a practicing physician to emphasize understanding these issues. He tweeted: "As a practicing physician, I understand the challenges rural America faces in accessing care. We must address workforce shortages which disproportionately impact these areas. Great meeting with @theFSMB to ensure our rural communities are taken care of."

On March 26, 2025, Congressman Murphy commented on trade relationships affecting the U.S. economy during a hearing held by @WaysandMeansGOP. His statement underscored the need for trade agreements supporting American workers’ interests alongside President Trump: "For far too long, our economy has been held hostage by unfair trade relationships, making our country vulnerable to our greatest adversaries. @WaysandMeansGOP had a hearing on how we can work with President Trump on trade agreements that support American workers' best interests."
