On March 25, 2025, Congressman Murphy expressed gratitude for the bipartisan support received by his Veterans National Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment Act. The bill aims to offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy for veterans suffering from PTSD and TBI. He stated: "Grateful that my Veterans National Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment Act, to offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy for veterans with PTSD and TBI, passed @HouseVetAffairs with bipartisan support. I look forward to advocating for the passage of this bill on the House floor."

Later that day, Murphy addressed healthcare challenges faced by rural America in accessing care due to workforce shortages. He highlighted his background as a practicing physician to emphasize understanding these issues.
