North Carolina's Rep. Don Davis lauds digital innovation, honors military, and supports small business

Congressman Don Davis, who represents North Carolina's 1st district and has served in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently shared insights on digital asset policy, honored military personnel, and acknowledged small business efforts. His tenure follows his time in the North Carolina State Senate from 2009 to 2011.

In a post dated April 9, 2025, Rep. Davis emphasized the importance of digital asset policy for American innovation. As the Ranking Member of the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Commodity Markets, Digital Assets, and Rural Development, he stated he is ready to “roll up my sleeves and bring the modern world to rural communities.”

Later on the same day, Davis congratulated the 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson AFB in a post for their recognition of extraordinary valor. Thirty-one honorees received distinguished decorations for “extraordinary valor in the most extensive air-to-air engagement in over 50 years.”

In another post from April 9, 2025, Davis expressed his appreciation for small businesses on Hertford's Main Street. Acknowledging a meaningful event organized by the Perquimans Chamber of Commerce, he noted, “our heartfelt thanks go out to Diane Cagemi and the Perquimans Chamber of Commerce.”

Don Davis continues to serve as an influential figure in Congress. He was born in Snow Hill, North Carolina, in 1971, where he currently resides.
