SAVE THE DATE: Third Annual North Carolina WATERS Summit

Greenville, N.C. – On June 21, Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) and Rep. David Rouzer (NC-07) announced they will be co-hosting the third annual Water Adaptations to Ensure Regional Success (WATERS) Summit on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 9am-4:30pm in Greenville, NC at the Hilton Hotel.

After two hugely successful events in Greenville and Wilmington, they look forward to continuing the bipartisan conversation regarding human adaptation strategies to waterway challenges in North Carolina and furthering the development of legislative plans and strategies to combat these challenges over the next 5, 25, and 100-years.

Rep. Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03) and Rep. David Rouzer (NC-07) will be joined by Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) (virtual) leading scientific and academic experts, outside stakeholders, community leaders, and many federal, state, and local officials.The full attendee and speaker list will be announced at a later date. Rep. Donald Davis (NC-01) has been invited.

NOTE: The WATERS Summit is invite-only and not open to the public. Members of the public will be invited to watch the WATERS Summit live via YouTube livestream on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
