Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., representing North Carolina’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently expressed his concerns on various issues through a series of tweets. These posts reflect his stance on healthcare costs, political discrimination, and media bias.

On November 19, 2024, Congressman Murphy shared his views regarding a report by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services about Medicare Advantage overpayments. He stated: "I had the opportunity to discuss with United Healthcare a recent U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' report on questionable Medicare Advantage overpayments." He further mentioned his concern about "MA upcoding and exorbitant costs to the Medicare System," emphasizing the need for ensuring proper use.

On November 20, 2024, Murphy addressed an issue concerning FEMA, stating: "Political discrimination against Trump supporters at FEMA is completely unacceptable." He criticized bureaucracy for delaying recovery efforts and called for accountability from Administrator Criswell by requesting an OIG report on the incident.

Later that day, he commented on what he perceives as media bias: "The crazy Left has collectively lost their minds. Main Street media, an arm of the Democratic Party, can’t cope."
